 The International Center for Philosophical Research (CRF) is a non-profit cultural association founded 2012 by young professors and researchers working in the Philosophical Branch of Department of Humanistic Sciences, Palermo University (Italy). It provides scholars and students worldwide access to new research opportunities via a constant interchange of financial resources, research material, learning and teaching experiences in Sicily and abroad.

Our constant professional Efforts are aimed at building up Courses, Workshops, Publications, Conferences, Fellowships, Summer Schools, Research Grants and Awards, and are guaranteed by passion, motivation and long term expertise in professional philosophy.

EPEKEINA is a biannual peer-reviewed journal published by CRF - Centro Internazionale per la Ricerca Filosofica. It covers a wide range of research on Ontology including Metaphysics, Epistemology, Ethics, History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Religion, Philosophy of Mind, Political Philosophy, and other relevant areas of philosophical research. It seeks to provide an international platform for scholars worldwide to exchange their most recent philosophical research. The Journal is commited to making its contents free and open to the public with the intent of supporting the global exchange of knowledge.

CRF INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR M. A. DISSERTATIONS is bestowed annually to M. A. Dissertations which especially distinguish themselves for outstanding level of research work and originality. Three prizes will be awarded: 1) 1.000,00 euros and publication; 2) 500,00 euros and publication; 3) publication. Dissertations will be adapted by the winners as scientific article and published in a special issue of EPEKEINA Journal. Awards will be presented in an international ceremony and conference which will take place in a historical location different every year.

SUMMER SCHOOL IN CONTEMPORARY PHILOSOPHY offers scholars and students worldwide an unique chance to interact with the most relevant figures of philosophy nowadays in a well-focused and relaxed environment. School takes place from the last week of August to the first week of September in the superb historical and natural location of TERME ACQUA PIA, Montevago (AG). School fees include: courses, lodging, meals, beach transfer, complete access to thermal park, museums and archeological sites tickets, weekend excursions. 2015 SUMMER SCHOOL will be directed by JEAN-LUC NANCY, who will discuss with the participants on "THE PARTITION OF SEXES"
